Il sorpasso (The Easy Life) is a 1962 Italian film directed by Dino Risi, generally considered the Milanese director’s masterpiece and one of the cornerstones of Italian comedy. It constitutes one of the most representative cinematic frescoes of Italy’s so-called economic miracle at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s.
Some scenes were shot in Civitavecchia at Forte Michelangelo and on the Tirrenia ferries.
