The small Church of the Virgin of Graces or of the Star, overlooking Leandra Square, in the heart of the ancient village, is among the oldest in the city, although it was rebuilt after the war. It was founded as a sanctuary in the fifteenth century and is still the seat of the Brotherhood of the Banner, founded by San Bonaventura in 1274 in Civitavecchia, dedicated to the sick and prisoners.
From here, the evening of Good Friday, the Procession of the Dead Christ, which sees the participation of hundreds of hooded penitents, together with a multitude of faithful and simple spectators.
