If you want to live an experience at the spa in a particularly impressive place, among the hills a few kilometers from the city, you have to come to “Ficoncella”, which takes its name from the fig tree that stands out among the five natural pools, carved into the rock, where you can choose to dive in water from different degrees of temperature, from 50 to 60 degrees centigrade. The beneficial properties of these sulphurous waters, which are clear and odorless, are many; they are in fact effective in the treatment of dermatitis, arthritis, digestive, respiratory and urinary tract diseases. In addition, the fumes coming out of the cave near the pools allow you to carry out healthy inhalations.
You can spend a relaxing day enjoying the services available (bar, changing rooms, bathrooms, chairs and sunbeds), in a place frequented since the Etruscan and Roman times, as evidenced by the presence of the remains of the ancient Aquae Tauri nearby.
