Saffi Square

The walls of the ninth century, still visible, give Piazza Aurelio Saffi an ancient, medieval atmosphere, despite the recent restructuring.
In the square, full of pubs and restaurants, you can spend pleasant moments surrounded by an intimate and relaxing atmosphere both day and night.
The square is also known as Piazza San Giovanni for the presence of the homonymous church, built in 1653 and destined for the Order of Malta.
Through the Archetto, then, you can “go down” directly in the underlying Piazza Leandra, the heart of the ancient town.
