The Citadel of Music

The Citadel of Music was born from the interventions of recovery and the transformation, in the 90s, of the space that was the Presiding Infirmary, 1700 building connected to the oldest Old Hospital. The garden wall is a part of the sixteenth-century masonry designed and built by Antonio da Sangallo, of which is also witnessed by the beautiful portal on the street dedicated to the great architect. In this structure, inaugurated at the end of 2009 by Master Morricone, you can attend shows, concerts, conferences, conferences and exhibitions.
The building includes a street-level floor on Via degli Ospedali, a large garden, offices and dressing rooms for the artists on the first floor, and three rooms on the second floor: the foyer, the room dedicated to Mafalda Molinari with a small stage equipped with a piano and 96 seats, and the room dedicated to Maestro Ennio Morricone with a stage equipped with a piano and 180 seats.
